Not bad for a tune that was recycled from something he’d created for a stage musical…
Ursula Andress and Sir Sean Connery fought over a record player so they could practice the song Honey and Bond sing together, “Under the Mango Tree”, which is notable for being the only instance of Bond singing in the entire film series. Recalling the incident, Andress said “[Connery] didn’t need the practice because he sings much better than I do. I can’t carry a tune”.
