These are some of the questions I had to deal with when I gave up and applied at Indigo books (the whole vision brand thing’s a turnoff but….)

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that wherever you go, they are never satisfied with your resume format. So you change it to meet their criteria. Till the next person or organization that wants to help you comes along and they’re not satisfied with your resume format. repeat.

“Must have experience and be comfortable working with needles and blood in a laboratory setting.”

I’ve applied to a job that involves needles and blood. Am I comfortable with needles? as long as they aren’t being used on me. Blood? Better theirs than mine. Experience? uuuuh…willing to learn?
