"While this episode takes place outside, it was almost totally shot on a soundstage. @kasrafarahani brought in I don’t know how many tons of dirt and grass from a nearby field and created the world of the Void inside."

"Alligator Loki was definitely a crew favorite."

"Okay, now we're coming to my favorite set of the series. @kasrafarahani literally bought a bowling alley in Omaha and had it shipped out to Atlanta to be turned into The Loki Palace."

"The whole thing was covered with amazing little details of variants with extra fingers or nostrils and variant pop culture references."

"Almost all of the scenes in the Void were shot on one stage. @kasrafarahani redressed it for each new scene and @iamkateherron and @durald carefully shot in different angles to make it all feel new."

"Tom had a lot of fun with President Loki. He spent the night before coming up with all sorts of hilarious alt lines, but we settled on "beef-witted, half-faced scrubs"

"Jack Veal was great as Kid Loki. He followed Tom around like a puppy. Between shots, Tom is always moving. He’ll run in place, do squats, or whatever. Adorably, Jack started doing squats and running in-place with him."

"Tom and Owen really do like each other so much. There was real friendship in that hug. Plus, we were all sequestered to avoid Covid, so I think they just enjoyed human contact."

"Everyone was so excited to have @RichardEGrant for this episode. I mean, he’s Withnail, after all. And he could not have been more humble and excited to be there. In-between his scenes, Richard would just hangout on set and kick back for a nap on the ground. No fuss at all. Just wanted to stick around so he’d be around when were were ready to shoot. And remember how Jack Veal would follow Tom around? Pretty much all the other actors did that with Richard. @RichardEGrant did take after take with industrial fans blowing in his face and nothing to act against but blue curtains and brought such emotion to every take. He was such a joy to watch."

"Loki and Sylvie enchanting Alioth together was something we found pretty late into the process. It was #KevinWright that brought up that they should hold hands and find the strength within each other and it was such and of course moment."

"Wow. What an episode. Great work was done by many, but @TomKauffman, @iamkateherron and @kasrafarahani really earned their paychecks with this one."
