I hate that for the last few years we had the chance to laugh and “oh man Obi-Wan would be a good uncle” and now we are stuck with the devastating knowledge that he would have been the best

I need to rewatch A New Hope now just so I can be all weepy about his death because now that moment isn’t about Luke’s shock and grief to me, it’s about Leia and how much Obi-Wan absolutely loves and believes in her and when he knows she and Luke are together he can finally let go of his burden and find peace.

While simultaneously really confusing and annoying Anakin which is icing on the death cake.
