The only cult movie reference I haven’t been able to confirm are the alien spaceships at the top left of the painting. I think they are the ships from Mars Attacks, but that didn’t stop me from looking up every 50’s alien B-movie I could think of. This did two things: 1) reconfirmed it’s definitely NOT War of the Worlds and 2) confused me even more. See, now I’m thinking they are from Earth vs. the Flying Saucers. *facepalm*
