I may have mentioned before that I have a little mental association game I like to play where, if two fictional characters have a parent (adoptive or biological) played by the same actor (on-screen or voice performance), I think of them as half-siblings. This applies to Lieutenant Commander Data (ST:TNG) and Daniel Faraday (Lost) via Fionnula Flanagan, Charles Boyle (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Finn Mertens (Adventure Time) via Stephen Root, Moana of Motunui and Boba Fett via Temuera Morrison, and Leia Organa and Amy Santiago (also B99) via Jimmy Smits. it goes this way the whole episode until the very last five minutes where he gets so frustrated that HE breaks into song with all 30 or so years of con o’neill’s musical theatre experience and everyone else stops dead and stares at him like “woah dude”
