When we did the Ent-D in 1987 for ST:TNG, illustrator Andrew Probert wanted the bridge to have coffee cup holders, but this lovely detail was never added. When we re-created the set for Picard 3, art director Liz Kloczkowski asked me to add a bit of subtle detailing to two small blank black panels because we thought the undetailed panels might look like a mistake in 4K. I added thin panel lines to suggest coffee cup holders/warmers. So, Andrew finally got his cup holders!
