randomly have Van Halen’s Jump pop into my head this morning after at least a decade or two since i last heard it. I still remember a good chunk of the chords. It’s still a good wakeup song (I think it probably played on the clock radio when the alarm went off on certain school days).
Anyway. I wanna go back to bed.
aaaaahhh first 7hrs of sleep in a week and a half
A couple of days ago i thought i had successfully flipped my sleep schedule. oh what a fool I was.
anyone remember those posters, this was early to mid 90s, that were framed and had lights embedded in them? like say one of the new york skyline and several of the lights were red lights that were either plugged in or battery powered? I always wanted one as a kid.
I just got a bit of a flashback looking at the 94 Robocop TV series wiki page,
and finally figured out where I’d seen Blu Mankuma before (he’s in the Stargate ep Nightwalkers but I knew I knew him from somwhere else). I was def in the right age range when it came out to enjoy that show (also listed as a Canadian show bc.
And I also watched Prime Directives when it came out (also listed as a Canadian miniseries) i seem to recall it being okay but it was 2001. I never watched either animated shows (and the 2014 movie…..not great)

i’ve had this unshakeable nostalgic memory of coin operated TVs at voyageur stations all week. expanded to waiting for buses early in the morning, the sounds, the seats.
