RoboCop 3 (1993)
Filmed in ‘91, one year after RoboCop 2, but was not released until end of 1993 due to production company Orion going bankrupt. Robocop 3 manages to omit just about everything that made the original (and sequel), so special. Featuring cardboard cut-out characters and a dystopia which lacks insight or imagination. Add to this the budget, the absence of Peter Weller and the fact that Nancy Allen only agreed to reprise her role if her character were to be killed off in the first half of the film and you’re fighting a losing battle. Although the concept of cybernetic ninja terminators is almost worth the price of admission.
