Someday I’m actually going to sit down and write that essay about how Rom and Leeta are perfect for each other because they’re both regarded by their own species as “good-looking idiots,” but both are actually brilliant in ways just not valued by their societies (Leeta is a master organizer and manager, Rom is a mechanical genius).

You have every right to be depressed, brother. Ever since you were blacklisted by the Ferengi Commerce Authority it’s been one thing after another. But I have some news that’s going to cheer you up.

I love how Sisko’s serenity never slips. This is just the kind of thing that happens.
