My favorite part about Star Trek: The Final Frontier, is the fact that shatner apparently believed that at somepoint, the Romulans would just, embody the 80′s, like,

Like, she has the distressed, curly bangs she probably fried with a curling iron, some weird version of the beehive that could impale someone, retro headgear that looked like head phones, 3lbs of eyeshadow, and her dress had more disco glitter than in Kesha’s “Take it Off” video.

and tbh, I really love it, because it means that the Romulans went hardcore into the 80′s, and really explains how they came to this,

like, the Romulans went “lets take a hard turn from 80′s retrowave to 80′s dictator fashion” and rolled with it.
