I’m watching Samurai Commando Mission 1549 which is a 2005 remake of G.I. Samurai (1979) and it wastes no time sending a military detachment back in time. Where as G.I. Samurai was ambiguous about what sent those soldiers back this time it’s clearly manmade, if accidental, as they’re testing a prototype shield with unintended consequences
