#Spin

OH I forgot about this! saw it a few days ago at aintitcool:

In Other Syfy news, the channel just announced that it will adapt Robert Charles Wilson’s Hugo-winning 2005 novel “Spin”  into a six-hour miniseries. That novel depicts a temporal membrane that settles over the Earth and causes time to slow on Earth: for every hour that passes, the rest of the universe ages more than 13,000 years. This is a mammoth problem because the sun’s expansion will make the solar system uninhabitable in the space of a few decades (as perceived by humanity).

I read Spin a couple of years ago and I really enjoyed it. Robert Charles Wilson has some pretty accessible scifi, Darwinia, The Chronoliths are both good reads.

I guess this means I need to read Axis and the third book.

There’s also a trailer for Expanse, an adaptation of James Corey’s Leviathan Wakes which I haven’t read yet (eventually, I’m way behind on my reading right now)
