Someone pointed out that, of the Vulcan main characters on Star Trek--Spock, Tuvok, and T'Pol--Tuvok is the only one whose Vulcanness is never presented as a problem to be solved. His arc isn't about reconciling himself with his emotions; in fact, his emotional control is consistently framed as a very good thing.
