That’s right, The Early Voyages alternate future storyline takes Mia Colt out of 2254 and plunges her forward 30 or 40 years (probably closer to 40) where her disappearance hit everyone hard, and Pike got a new Yeoman assigned…Kirk. They butted heads for a year until Kirk resigned from Starfleet. Now Kirk is a privateer (with Scotty) and Admiral Pike commands the Enterprise-A, with a mix of both Cage and TOS crews.
