Ah yes, the Going Rogue Leather Jacket.
Geordi, are those pockets of metreon gas?
Yes Commander, highly volatile. I recommend we keep our
distance.

Frakes, McFadden and Stewart talking with someone off camera during the first Enterprise scene of Insurrection.
The Trill crewmen seated as Riker walks by is Max Grodénchik, better known as DS9’s Rom. His cameo in “Insurrection” ended up being cut, along with a more sizable one from Armin Shimmerman as Quark in the finale of the film.
BTW, the deleted scene above is on Youtube (x). It really did not need to be in the movie. BUT it does contain a tiny bit of information related to the Dominion War. Early in the war, Sisko and his crew destroyed the main storage facility of ketracel-white (”A Time to Stand’). Later, Damar and Weyoun negotiated a peace treaty with the Federation and its allies. But the real purpose of the treaty was to gain control of a planet on which could be found a key ingredient for producing ketracel-white (”Statistical Probabilities”). And in the deleted scene mentioned above, we learn it was the Son’a who manufactured the white for the Dominion.
Most studios and TV networks don’t like it when the writers pay attention to continuity and canon. But I appreciate it.
Neat!
oh that’s where the librarian comes from!

Evidence of a deleted scene from Star Trek: Insurrection. Riker delivers a report to a lunching Picard. We know this is a deleted scene because Picard didn’t wear the ‘Commando’ vest in the finished film, nor eat lunch (among other clues!)
