I just learned that the Sahara desert used to be green and full of life 5,000 years ago (with animals and rivers and even people)- that means Andy is old enough to REMEMBER WHEN THE SAHARA DESERT WASN'T A DESERT 0_0

nonnie the nerdy part of me that picked geography as my high level science elective in high school and geniunely considered studying archeology for a while finds the desertification of the sahara extremely fascinating BUT

the dumbass shitposter part of me who actually ended up doing film studies immediately thought of modern day andy going ‘i know a nice spot to go off the grid for a bit’ only to find that that spot has been covered in fucking sand for oh i dont know five thousand years and just being like

I DON’T KNOW LET’S TALK ABOUT IT

Here’s the thing: Joe has the shotgun but it’s at the wrong angle to shoot the guy. Also, he has to take a split second to rack the shotgun, but in that split second he’s vulnerable. In that second, Nicky shoots the guy in the foot, which does two things: It buys Joe the time he needs, and also brings the assailant lower, which allows Joe to finish him off. That’s teamwork, folks.

HOLY SHIT! I missed both those moments - Joe taking out the guy aiming at Nicky, and Nicky getting the guy behind Joe’s back with his sword. Ya’ll rock!

So our revised sequence is: Joe uses shotgun to knock aside the gun aimed at Nicky, Nicky shoots guy in the foot while Joe racks the shotgun, Joe finishes him off the assailant using the shotgun while at the same time Nicky takes out guy aiming at Joe’s back.
