The Red Paintings, ‘The Streets Fell Into My Window’. There are about a dozen members to this band; drums, chimes and other percussion, violins, guitars, vocals, painters. They opened for the Dresden Dolls, at the first time I saw them perform, and I think they may have blew my mind even harder than the Dolls because I was absolutely not expecting this. There are elements of Radiohead and Muse, the Tea Party, weird bits that remind me of Mike Patton and Coil, and I still have no idea where to place them, musically.

This song…this band…They’re just perfect! Trash is incredible, and they are so underrated it upsets me! Yeah its a bit weird, and his story for making music is a bit crazy, but I got to see them live a year ago and probably the best opening band ever.
Must Listen, must love.
heard this a couple of months back before I left Houston. good stuff
