I was listening to the commentary by Ann Robinson on The War of the Worlds and apparently George Pal insisted that Ann Robinson wear a wig, otherwise her short hair would “Date the Picture.” The wig is in two pieces, the top and the back part. Years later Pal would tell Robinson that he regretted her wig.
