Why does Picard ask his Chief Engineer if he’s picking up something strange on long range sensors?? He checked with Worf and then called Engineering to get further readings? Isn’t that why you have a whole slew of science officers to help you? I can understand something like “techobabble-blah-blah-boost the gain-on-sensors” and Worf can refine his readings, but that just seems odd.
