What exactly ARE the autobots and decepticons fighting about? I tried to wiki it but they had like eleven subsections on the Cybertron civil war and I already have too much to read

Cybertronian civil war:

Massive class divides and inequality inherent in the system. Megatron tries to fix it peacefully by bringing attention to it with his writing. Megatron goes to a bar with his buddy. Someone tries to get a CURLY STRAW from under the bar, knocks over someone elses drink, starts a fight. Megatron is arrested even though he had nothing to do with the fight and gets beat up in prison.

Megatron goes ‘oh, violence is the only way to get this message across’. Optimus goes ‘um maybe not violence pls but yeah i agree about the shitty inequality?’. War starts, then massive energy crisis because of the amount needed to wage war. War spreads out across universe as everyone tries to get all the resources they can.

TLDR: War started because class inequality and the CURLY STRAW was the STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMELS BACK.

This is the only thing I care about for the next 75 years
