Star Trek - Generations (1994)

spockvarietyhour

seriously why did they? what kind of scheduling pressure or conflict led to a ship putting out without such basic equipment? were they trying to force it to happen on the anniversary of something?

My main problem with Treks I, II, V and VII. The Enterprise is always the only one in range no matter her condition(V went with “oh we have ships but I need Kirk so he’s glued to his ship to the hip let’s not transfer him to another one or have the Enterprise meet another one along the way). The fleet’s a bit thin if you ask me.

One of the other reasons for me to like VI is after five movies of the Enterprise being brand-spanking new an problem-riddent (I & V), crewed by Cadets (II) Moribund (III) an enemy ship (IV). VI starts with a veteran crew and a tested ship. Bam, done. Of course they don’t know that someone’s working against them from within but still….

And that problem extends to Generations’s prologue part.
