I’ve heard of the Draka series and read the synopsis, I’m thinking it can’t be worse than Dave Putnam’s Gamekeeper Series which starts as an alternate Boer War and ends being a hunger games type deal…
From Stirling I’ve liked the entirery of the Emberverse novels as well as the three books in The Island in the Sea of Time.
