First GIF shows a full-body shot of Joel Miller and his brother, Tommy in their neighbourhood. The first one has a dead body at his feet, while the second one is pointing a gun at it, but looking behind Joel's with a concerned expression on his face. Joel slowly, almost absently, turns his head around to see his daugther, Sarah (out of shot).

Second GIF is a close-up shot of Joel from the chest up. He's breathing hard, still panicked by the prior commotion in the room. His eyes turn slightly down, and then he whispers between one breath and the next, "Ellie".

Third GIF is a close-up shot of Sarah from the chest up, surrounded by darkness. She's looking down, mouth open in shock, and then she looks up again to stare at her father. A tear falls from her left eye, but her expression doesn't change.

Fourth GIF shows Ellie sitting on the dirty floor, while Sam's body is lying behind her. She turns around, absently responding to Joel's call, and looks at him the same way Sarah did 20 years ago: mouth agape and eyes brimming with tears, incapable of saying a word.

Sixth GIF is a close-up shot of Joel's face. The more he looks at Ellie (out of shot), the more his expression grows concerned. Breathe still unsteady, Joel sprints into action once again and takes a decisive step forward towards Ellie.

Eighth GIF shows Henry pointing his gun at Joel, who's about to cross in front of him to get to Ellie. We can't see Joel's face, but he comes to an abrupt halt the moment he notices the gun and takes a step back, his hand reaching out towards Henry in a placating gesture. Henry keeps his wide eyes on Joel's face as confusion slowly turns into horror.
