Yes that’s him, Boothby. He was also My Favorite Martian in the 50s (and in the crummy 90s remake) and one of the teachers in Fast Times at Ridgemont High and the judge on Picket Fences (among other roles).
There’s def some scenes missing in this movie,a lack of coherence, but this is a lot better than I was going to give it credit for.
There’s something very right about Robert Englund facing off against Robert Englund a la “The Enemy Within”

Galaxy of Terror is basically an alien ripoff but instead of Aliens it’s Nightmares come to Life and it has Robert Englund before he was Freddy Krueger.
I mean I’m not casting suspicion on you Englund, Ray Walston has the Ash role and he’s acting mighty shifty.
But your whole franchise has been about dream control, for all I know this is your origin story.
