There’s only two genres of dogs in medieval paintings and they look like this

sometimes when im sad i remember that the ancient greeks and romans loved their lapdogs so much that we basically know exactly what they looked like. we can still read descriptions and see the paintings and reliefs of these small little white fluffy things with pointed noses and curly tails, a picture painted out of love
