This widely censored scene includes a single undraped shot, lasting perhaps five seconds, of Miriam Hopkins as Ivy getting into bed during her first meeting with Jekyll. The infamous scene, missing even from the restored Turner Classics version on VHS, is fully restored in the DVD release. When it was re-released in 1936, the Code required 8 minutes to be removed before the film could be distributed to theaters.
