Duluth, Minnesota, July 1909. “Superior Street, featuring two trolley lines and the famous Lyceum Theatre.”

The Lyceum was said to be Duluth’s first “fire-proof” theater when it opened in 1892.  It hosted live shows until 1921 when it was converted to showing movies.  Eventually it fell into disrepair and was demolished in 1963.
