austin butler gives me a bit too much napoleon dynamite vibes but he does have nice lips, which is crucial for feyd, but he just seems a lil long.

florence pugh is a fantastic choice for irulan. i can't complain one bit about her casting except that it's too damn late and that irulan should've been there in the very beginning. like wtf.

with all the new batman trailers and now the gq photoshoot i can officially say that i want robert pattinson to be feyd-rautha harkonnen in the next dune movie

this is peak unhinged slutcore and i am here for it

arguably, caleb landry jones would also make an even better feyd, and would match the uncanny ingenue vibe that is closer to the book

seriously if neither of these two get cast as feyd i'll eat my stillsuit

For the past six months or so I’ve been working my way through the audio versions of the Dune books. They’re long and unabridged, so at this point the man who has voiced most of them, Simon Vance, feels like an old friend. And I think it is to his credit that with complete neutrality in his tone he managed to absolutely obliterate me when he read aloud the phrase “until penis was firmly clasped in vagina” while I was making lunch in the kitchen.

The phrase wasn’t even in a sex scene. It might have been better if it was. It was just one of the main characters having a little internal monologue about the art of seduction during an otherwise politically fraught scene about duty and family. And out he comes with “until penis was firmly clasped in vagina.”

I just. Immediately my mind went blank and now all I can picture is a weird cartoon version of genitalia in some kind of…handshake-like situation.

Frank. Why.
