This is the only news I’ve had this year that has made me well up with tears of joy. Mike was (is, sorry, I still have trouble believing he’s dead) a friend, a colleague, a confidant, a houseguest, and (among sf/fantasy writers) one of the best of us. That other people should finally get to read the stuff that Mike sent us back in the day and we’ve got tucked away upstairs is FABULOUS beyond belief.
