I love how much use Star Trek has gotten out of the “Blinking Tubes” over the years and while I won’t list every instance here, the people over at Ex Astris Scientia have a pretty exhaustive list.

These are the caps i could take (and manipulate) from Contagion showing the Yamato’s bridge and the teal seat cushion they threw on the captain’s chair to differentiate it from the Enterprise’s. you can see the strap over the headrest too. And the matching fabric on the tactical console…..

Also how inconvenient is it for repairs if you gotta flip the console behind the headrest to access the inner workings?
