In Firefly she would have been 18-19 yes. I mean specifically here, where’s she’s (initially) portraying a high school student despite being about 27 at the time of filming. I was thinking specifically of Charisma Carpenter on Buffy, who was also about 27 during the first season playing a sophomore (Alyson Hannigan and SMG would have been about 23 and 20 respectively)
