In The Birthright, we get confirmation that DS9's replicators are just especially bad, which helps explain why the characters there are so much more desperate for real food. Presumably, part of the problem is that they were programmed for Cardassian food.

Worf, however, loves the original replicated food on his first visit. Does this suggest the Klingon and Cardassian palates are similar? Or perhaps, since Terok Nor wasn't exactly a luxury location, the Klingon palate adores bad Cardassian food?
