This is a reminder to myself as much as anything else, but remember: in your life you have choices. tunnel vision is insidious and sunk costs are seductive but you are not bound to a certain version of the future or a certain path through life. you are not held before the firing squad of predestination. you can quit, you can walk away, you can turn back or turn aside or just stop. there are a lot of genuinely imprisoning situations in the world; do not be your own jailer too
