The Star Trek Rule of K™️

Once you know, you can’t unsee The Star Trek Rule of K™️, which doesn’t actually exist yet clearly states that the show’s star who is also the captain of a Federation starship (the Defiant counts) needs at least one K or K sound in their name:

• James T. Kirk
• Jean-Luc Picard
• Benjamin Sisko
• Kathryn Janeway
• Michael Burnham
• Christopher Pike

The only exception is Jonathan Archer, which makes sense because the Federation didn’t exist during his captaincy. Also, Cris Rios follows the rule even though he doesn’t have to (which tracks with him keeping La Sirena to Starfleet standards), as does Carol Freeman (a character I can envision arguing with Beckett Mariner over who is the star of their show, anyway).
