The Vest Enlightenment 

In later episodes of Deep Space Nine, Jake acquires 4 vests and wears them with about 7 different shirts resulting in many combinations, some of which are seen above.

Jake Sisko’s Vest Phase mysteriously coincided with my Crush On Jake Sisko Phase.

The vests were a HUGE improvement on the bus seat covers and excessively snug onesies, and gave him a kind of Wild West look, especially that leathery one he’s wearing with the indigo shirt while talking to Nog.
Jake Sisko was a darn handsome lad.
