Looking back at this scene, there is a whole different meaning behind those words now. Dib’s dad was right. Wishing isn’t very scientific because he always intends to help his son when he needs it most. Even if he doesn’t believe in all the obvious alien activity.

Enter the Florpus was fun (and who knew I’d liveblog an IZ in 2019). Was there one too many asides or callback? Maybe. but I genuinely enjoyed it. The only thing really missing was the classroom setting (and Ms Bitters) but I also don’t see how they could have fitted it without over stuffing the special.
