Richard Dean Anderson’s last role before Stargate SG-1: Ernest Pratt, drunkard dime-novel writer in the Old West who takes on the persona of his beloved character Nicodemus Legend to save a small town with the help of someone who is definitely not Nikola Tesla. I’m sad Legend ended, but the timing is so tight that, if it hadn’t, we never would have gotten RDA as Jack O’Neill, and I think it’s definitely a good trade.
The last gif is something SG-1 never really got a chance to display: RDA’s patented “I’ll hit you, but it’s gonna hurt me as much as it does you” style of punching.
