First thing that came to mind
#life on mars
1.1 Stay
Gene Hunt, your DCI, and it’s 1973, almost dinnertime. I’m having ‘oops.
In 2006 DCI Sam Tyler gets hit by a car and wakes up in 1973. This is his first day in this strange, alien world complete with new Boss, a disturbing lack of technology, awesome music and atrocious fashion (the colours! the collars! the cuban heels!). Watching him deal - and not deal - with the situation around him is both hilarious and distressing. He is very obviously out of place and very obviously exactly what his new department needs.
Music (broadcast —-> take-home):Stairway to the Stars, BOC ——–> Feel Too Good, The Move
I’m So Free, Lou Reed ——–> If There is Something, Roxy Music
Rat Rat Blue, Deep Purple ——> Easy Livin’, Uriah Heep
Fireball, Deep Purple ——–> Look at Yourself, Uriah Heep
(Not Pictured) Immigrant Song, Led Zeppelin plays over the trailer for the next episode.
Hopefully surprising no one, the very first song played is Life on Mars.
life on mars rewatch: In error, Sam has been given an overdose of medication, which has placed him in extreme clinical danger.
