I thought ditto could only transform into pokemon. Is there a limit to what ditto can transform into?

According to what knowledge I have on this Pokémon, Ditto is capable of transforming into exact replicas of any physical object or living creature, although each Ditto has its strengths and weaknesses as to what it can transform into. As an example, some Ditto struggle to maintain the transformation while laughing!
