Chevrolet Corvette Asteroid, 1963, by Barris Kustoms. A C2 Corvette built for entrepreneur and boat racer Bob Nordskog whose boat competition department built the motor. Nordskog would drive the car to the track on street tyres then switch to track mode with American Racing mags (bottom pic) and uncork the side pipes on the custom multi-piece exhaust system. After Nordskog’s death in 1992 the car remained with his family and was restored back to its original custom state
