While I was in the shower I was thinking “What if Mads Mikkelsen played Gul Madred” which I thought would be something interesting but then I thought “What if Mads Mikkelsen played Counselor Troi as Hannibal Lecter?” He wouldn’t wear her low cut outfits (but if you want to picture Mads Mikkelsen wearing Troi’s various space princess outfits go right ahead, and if you weren’t thinking about it, aren’t you glad I mentioned it?) but rather his expensive three piece suits. I don’t even think he would need her empathic skills but just imagine him giving Picard advice on dealing with Romulans, or counseling a random crewman that disappeared, uh, transferred off soon after. Hosting poker night and home cooked meals.
