I know this is probably the least of this adaptation’s problems, but for fack’s sake, is that meant to be a captain’s uniform?!! He wouldn’t even pass for a middie in that rig. Where’s the gold lace, the lapels? Could you no at least have stuck a pair of epaulettes on him? Why would you take the story with the dashing naval hero and not go absolutely the fuck to town on the costume porn opportunities? D:
