Voyager introduces some really cool concepts but doesn’t follow thru. They exhaust their maquis storylines early and everyone’s just vanilla (except for that one lower decks episode). We bring in Equinox and merge their crew and they are never spoken of again. We find out a Cardassian Warship has also been swept in by the caretaker and while a follow up could have been convoluted, especially after Equinox, nothing came of it.
