We always got a chuckle out of passing the sign for the “Bong State Recreation Area” on our drives to Milwaukee during grad school, but I did always wonder why they didn’t try to remediate this eminently stealable road sign by adding the eponymous honoree’s first name….

I had to check this individual out on Wikipedia and…look at him. Look at this body language. The nostril perma-flare.
