“Hey, Buck,” Steve asks one morning over breakfast. “Why do you have a plastic dog tag with Sam’s face on it?”

“Sam gave it to me,” Bucky replies through a mouthful of bran muffin. “He thought he was being funny. It’s from that line of birthday cards that Stark okayed.”

“And why does Sam have a dog tag of you?”

“I gave it to him as revenge.”

“Ah. And you both constantly wear them because…”

Bucky shrugs. “It’s funny. We’re doing it sarcastically.”

Steve processes that for a moment. “Are you guys having sex sarcastically too?”

Bucky glares.

“I think it’s time to admit you’re dating,” Steve says. Bucky flicks a raisin at him.
