The first Borderlands game (I’m playing last year’s remaster) has some good and bad with it. I love that Steve’s whole Hey-ooO! (which when I rewatched the old ads I came crashing back to 2009) has a whole life of its own in the game (by the time you reach Moxxi’s Underground the crowd is chanting it).

The DLC saves are poorly thought out of (or strategically made for you play more) bc while each map in the main game has an initial spawn point (and multiple sub-spawn points if you die) the DLC only has one. main. spawn. point. It still has the multiple sub spawn so if you die you return close to where you left off but when you log off off and come back you restart at the DLC spawn, which sometimes might be 3-5 maps from where you were (at least your character and mission progress is saved but you still have to plow through all the maps between you and your target again which every enemy in between respawned)

I love the driving parts and yes the combat parts but I could do without the underdome. Specifically I just wasted an hour reaching the final wave when it crashed and well…that’s it for that progress, maybe i’ll do that again in a week or two.
