Oh, good. Good thing part of having chronic fatigue syndrome is insomnia from pain when you lie down then isn’t it. Suddenly those episodes of brain fog feel a lot more tangible…
(NB It’s 3am and I haven’t gone through this with a fine tooth comb for citations. It just kept popping up in a lot of my chronic illness community pages and the timing of it made me bleak-laugh at the fact that we were all awake reading the same thing.)
if you got anxiety, autism, adhd, depression, etc… and you’ve been feeling really suspiciously achy lately, go to sleep. stay asleep as long as you can.
anxiety, autism, adhd, depression, and so many other things can cause literal actual physical pain during times of longterm stress. this coronavirus pandemic? definitely a stresser. definitely longterm.
if you’re just feeling like absolute shit and you constantly feel like you have a whole body headache, go to sleep.
sleeping is one of the only surefire ways to let your body heal and give your tired muscles and bones a break. seriously. like, stay hydrated too, but you gotta sleep. give yourself some well-earned sweet ass dreams.
