Thank you, what a nice thing to get to choose from!  I’m bad at ranking things, so I’m going to pick five that occur to me quickly.

- In “Liaisons,” Data encouraging Worf to go and talk to the alien ambassador that he’s having trouble with. 

Data: How is your diplomatic assignment progressing?
Worf (in a growl): Fine.
Data: I have heard that in moments of diplomatic tension, it is often helpful to find elements of commonality.
Worf: Ambassador Byleth is demanding, temperamental and rude!
Data: You share all of those qualities in abundance. Perhaps you should try to build on your similarities. (very kindly pats Worf on the back and leaves)

- “Tell him he is a pretty cat. And a good cat.“  Data doting on Spot is always good and this is my favourite example. (”Phantasms”)

- Patting his head and rubbing his tummy at the same time as proof of what a highly advanced artificial intelligence he is (”Brothers”)

- Data earnestly telling Deanna that he’d like to get married one day and Deanna assuring him he has a lot to offer. (”Data’s Day”)

- The utterly weird noise he makes feeding the alien pet in “The Most Toys”
