The Man Who Laughs was an inspiration for the original 1940s Joker (And later re-rendered in The Joker The Man Who Laughs with a beautiful cover by Alex Ross) but I hadn’t seen this comparison between Barkilphedro (The King’s Jester who appears early in the The Man Who Laughs) and 2019 Joker.
